Stan returned to the same composition nearly two decades later, the once-quiet scene now caught in motion — sheets billow and twist against the wind, restless and alive, while a crowded row of garbage cans anchors the bottom of the frame in bold orange and black. The mother and child are still there, folded into the same gesture as before, but the whole scene now feels like it's moving.
