Zasis entered every performance without a plan. For Stan, watching was never passive — it was already a form of making. Improvisation and observation, it turned out, were the same discipline.
Zasis — The Artist's Book (1982)
Limited Edition
One hand-printed color version was made to fold and re-fold in different ways. An edition of 900 signed and numbered paperback books followed — twenty of which traveled with a show of ten prints.
The artist's book used excerpts from the group's prospectus and his etchings. It was printed by the offset litho-press, hand bound, numbered and signed.
